We have no human head. There is no man or group of men who legislate for the church. We answer to no one but Christ. Christ is the head of the church (Colossians 1:18). There is no inter-congregational organization; rather, independent congregations in various locations, with Christ as Lord and Master.

Each congregation is subject to scriptural elders – also known in the scriptures as bishops, shepherds, overseers, or pastors. These men are appointed only when they meet certain qualifications listed by Paul in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Serving under these shepherds are deacons, evangelists, and members (saints) (Philippians 1:1).
